Hello Friends! Just saying the word Spring puts a smile on my face. I instantly begin envisioning flowers in my head popping up out of the ground, and trees budding outside. A sign that winter is over, and a new season is here. I always say that fall is my favorite season, and Christmas is my favorite holiday, but secretly every time spring hits, it gives fall a run for its’ money. I’m starting to believe that spring is just has beautiful and breathtaking as fall is here in New England. Something about the warmer air, the longer days, and the signs of fresh new green everywhere gives me peace.
Today, I’m sharing our Spring Home Tour, part of the Seasonal Simplicity | Spring Series, hosted by Krista from the Happy Housie blog. Come and see how I freshened up our spaces for Spring this year.
Living Room ~
Last year, for spring, I was craving softer colors and pastels. This year, I’ve really been enjoying adding bold pops of green + blue to our spaces, that really gives a refreshed look.
My favorite faux white tulips from Amazon, are still going strong on our coffee table, and giving me all the spring feels! You can find them HERE, or see my entire Amazon Storefront – HERE.
I incorporated some new throw pillows from Linen & Cloth, found HERE. They can be purchased individually, or you can shop their curated sets, which is what I got.
Dining Room ~
Even the built-ins between our living room and dining room got a little refresh. I like to keep these built-ins fairly simple, a few small picture frames, some faux plants, and some deconstructed books – to keep things neutral.
I shared our Spring Mantle HERE, and I’m obsessed with these faux peach branches I picked up from Michael’s a few weeks ago. They had just the feeling of spring I was craving this year, and I’m already thinking of other ways to I can use them as well!
Also, newly re-listed from Between You & Me, is this custom sign they made for me with a quote from my book! You can find it in their shop HERE, but for a limited time only.
When you set a place around the table, you invite others to nourishment that feeds more than appetites … it feeds souls.

Kitchen~
I shared more of our kitchen decorated for spring earlier this week, which you can find HERE.
I like to keep my work spaces clear, but add little pops of green around our kitchen, so while I’m working at our island, my eye catches glimpses of spring throughout the entire space.
The open shelves in our kitchen is my favorite area to change up the decor seasonally. I shared all my tips, including dimensions, of how I style our open shelves HERE, along with a step by step guide for how I go about placing certain items on them.
This week I’m joined by some of my talented blogging friends who are also sharing their Spring Home Tours with you. Be sure to see what they are sharing by clinking the links below the images. Also sharing with me today, are…Friday
